Orlando vacations are hectic particularly with all the attractions the kids want to visit, but there is so much more to enjoy in this busy city. There are enough shops, markets, museums, art galleries and much more in Orlando to keep even the most ‘difficult to please’ person satisfied.

A lot of people, when choosing an Orlando vacation, straight away think of Disney World and tired out parents may resign themselves to spending several days chasing their kids around a theme park. Here are some other ideas to enhance your Orlando Vacation, and you may be impressed.

Your first worry perhaps is your budget. However, you would have to find out about the cost of your stay, the cost of theme park tickets and the cost of your meals to keep your budget realistic. But then, the whole Disney World is so big and there are so many sites and characters to see. You would have to plan out your itinerary for your whole vacation.

Your accommodations will cost a large chunk of your budget so you have to plan it carefully. There are those would be satisfied with a value room so they will be able to afford more days and they would have more for theme park tickets. They would rather get the Park Hopper alternative than spend more on hotel rooms. Find out more on where to stay in Orlando.

Whilst Orlando may appear on the surface to be a town intended for the entertainment of children that could not be farther from the truth with adults equally well looked after. For the young at heart, Orlando vacations aim to please with extensive evening venues including music and dance at Disney’s incredible Pleasure Island and Universals version, City walk, to name just a couple of places.

One of the challenges that many people face is finding a cheap Orlando vacation. After all, airfare, hotel accommodations, meals, and theme park entrance fees can take a big bite out of your pocketbook. One way of saving on accommodations is to rent Orlando vacation homes.

You can save money on Souvenirs by buying them at discount stores like Wal-Mart. Of course, the quality may not be the same so you can perhaps only get away with this if you have very young children. But it is a good savings tip for keeping on a budget for your Orlando Disney vacation. I hope this information can help you save a bit of money on your trip.

Corsica is a French island situated in the Med close to Italy. It is a favorite vacation destination for sailors from nearby countries, as well as the French. June and September are probably the best months, with warmer water in September.
The scenery is excellent; the sailing is good and the harbor life, a special experience, unlike anything in other sailing areas.

One of the things to love about Corsica is its Mediterranean weather. During summer, it can be relatively hot and warm. In winter, the atmosphere turns mild and rainy. The vegetation give life to the woodlands and forests of this small island. Take your sailing charter to the Gulf of Sagone. It’s consists mainly of curvy sandy beaches that reach up to Capo di Feno and Punto di Cargese. You can then proceed to Gulf of Liscia, which is filled with numerous historical sites such as the ruins of Castellu di Capraja or the 17th-century watchtowers of Genoa. The gulf is also located near Cinarca, which is famous for its wine production. You can also go into the rambles that surround Porto called the Ascent of the Capo of Orto or the Piana calanques and the Scandola Reserve while sailing in the area.

Bonifacio also offers a perfect venue for some cruising in Corsica. This beautiful town gives shelter to numerous fishing ports and the sailing harbor. You can also take a short history of its people from the Saint-Dominique Church or the Old Town. A Corsica sailing will never be complete without staying in La Maddelana. Its Piazza Umberto I is bustling with life activity. You can stroll around Garibaldi before you embark on another cruise through the port of Banchina Commerciale I. Via Garibaldi is rich with lots of business shops, bars, and restaurants.

Find more information on sailing in Corsica and Caribbean sailing here. In this website you can find information on sailing holidays from other parts of the world.

A place that is very special to residents of Laos is the Pha That Laung. This is where one sees Budhhism and Lao sovereignty go hand in hand. The monument looks like a missile from afar, and when getting close, one sees that it is a tall structure with small windows on the sides. A major festival happens here every year in November, which is the highlight of the place. A small structure, which is very tiny when compared to the Angkor era sites, Wat Phu is a monument that is very unique by famous architect. The ornate shiva sanctuary, and the crocodile stone are what make the place so enigmatic and popular amidst visitors. A three day Buddhist festival takes place here every year, when worshippers make their way up the Wat Phu Champasak, and also leave offerings.

Those are called Uggs and they are quite popular in many countries around the world but originally came from Australia. They are usually worn during the colder seasons since they are comfortable and warm as well.

There are many people who have been arguing if Uggs are cool or not. I for one would say they’re not cool. In fact, they are the opposite of cool. I wouldn’t be caught dead by a fake security camera wearing those ugly things. These are one of those times where I have to sacrifice comfort over style.

There are plenty of shoe blogs to be found on the Internet today. And why not, when ’shoes’ is a fun thing to blog about? Some of these blogs are funny, but not particularly useful. Others are good reading material before (yawn!) bedtime. And yet more others are all about selling their sponsors’ products without really contributing anything of value.

So where does my shoe blog come in? It’s really up to you to find out, but I’ve got a lot of things planned for this site. I plan to dedicate my whole blog to high heels because, let’s face it, what woman really wants to hear about the latest in ballet flats or the latest hideous sneakers? As comfortable as they might be, nothing can still beat the sexy, head-turning quality of high-heeled shoes.

I’m also planning on a rather organized approach, so you, my readers, will always know what to expect. We’re going to do Celebrity Mondays where we take a look at the high heels celebrities are sporting, and I will suggest a shoe for less for us practical gals - after I throw in a bit of gossip, of course. On Tuesdays, we’re going to do tips, lists, and how-tos - this should be fun! On Wednesdays, we’re going to do shoe makeovers! We’ll be on the lookout for people, whether they’re celebrities, a headliner, or even somebody we found on MySpace and their shoe faux pas. Why, you can even send in pictures of your ugly-shoed friends just for laughs. We’re also going to do Shoe of the Day Thursdays where we will feature a ridiculously expensive designer shoe from one of the shoe gods and a lesser-priced one that’s just as good - or at least, close! Lastly, we will have Feature Fridays where we, umm, feature (doh!) designers, stores, or anything that comes up in the wonderful world of high-heeled shoes.

As for Saturdays and Sundays, well you guys would just have to give me a couple of days to do my shoe shopping, wouldn’t you? However, from time to time I might be inspired to post a thing or two on weekends, so make sure you subscribe to my RSS Feed so you don’t miss anything.

With that said, do come back tomorrow and the day after that…and the day after that…and, well, you know what I mean. Tell your friends about this new tribute to high heels, as well. Let me know what you think and leave me a comment or two. You can also email me at … The Shoe Goddess is looking forward to hear from you!
