Can use of Drysol lead to cancer?

You can raise a cynical eyebrow at this question all you want, but the concern is legitimate. In fact, there is a raging debate over the likelihood that Drysol may cause cancer. Studies have shown that Drysol and other perspirants like it contain chemicals that affect hormones, which then stimulates malignant cells. To be precise, more than one study has tied up breast cancer with underarm deodorants.

Today, there is a huge tract of information available about how hormones and genetic predispositions play a role in the development of cancer. One such information involves Drysol. Don’t know why? Common sense dictates that a history of cancer in the family makes it likely you are predisposed to the same problem as well. At the very least, if you have certain genetic mutations, you will have one more factor that may trigger them to create a malignant tumor.

Undoubtedly, manufacturers want to show their products are completely safe for public use. This includes businesses that produce aluminum chloride, one of the main ingredients found in Drysol. As with Bisphenol-A, and many other chemicals, the truth about their toxicity cannot be hidden forever. This only shows that you should never believe everything you read, especially if it’s from product manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.

Sometimes, it seems like every product under the sun can cause cancer. However, do not dismiss the connection out of hand because it may very well be true. As may be expected, manufacturers of Drysol and other potentially harmful products would prefer you think that all these warnings are just media sensation. Unfortunately, if you choose to buy these products and use them, it will be too late to undo the damages once tumors start to develop. When this happens, you may not even remember you used Drysol!

Cancer is a terrible thing to deal with; but as early as now, you can take steps to avoid it. A good way of doing this is by shunning anything that can damage the makeup of your cells. Avoid using Drysol as much as possible. One of these days, you just might chance upon a newspaper article condemning Drysol and deodorants in general as cancer-causing. Til then, it pays to be careful.
